I have a 10 ft porta-bote with 5 HP gas motor and 45 lb trolling motor.

Do I need the boat license and peleasure-craft card? Reason I ask:

The operator must ensure that the vessel is properly licensed. (All vessels with motors 10 HP and over must be licensed)

Hi everyone.

I'm debating whether to get a endura or traxxis for my porta-bote (10 ft, usually 3 people average).

Does Traxxis really last 4-5 times longer? (battery charge).

And lastly, would 45lb drain the battery in a fast rate? What size should I get?

Mine did the same thing. All I had to do was tighten the screw.
Mine is a mariner 5HP though.
