Walleye Killer

Was returning from a favourite spot Saturday morning when my buddy spotted a seagull working on the gills of a fish. Turned out to be a 7 and a half pound walleye with the tail of a fairly large sunfish sticking out of its mouth. Further inspection revealed that the walleye had tried to swallow the ...

Re: REALLLY Not impressed

. His wife looked at me like I just farted in her mouth, but she was a pretty hot looking blond so I said nothing to her.   ....So if she was unattractive , What would you have said to her ??? Nothing, cause I wouldn't have noticed her. Just an attempt at a bit of humour on my pa...

REALLLY Not impressed

So, I was fishing walleye yesterday afternoon on my lake, Bob's, north of Kingston. In about 30 feet of water, about 30 yards from shore. Here comes Angler of the Year, with wife and two boys, about 10 and 12 years old. He's working the trolling motor expertly, about 12 feet from shore, with him and...

If buying in the States, make very sure that you retain the receipt that border services will give you acknowledging payment of the PST at the border. I bought a boat worth 50k plus a few years back, paid thousands in PST at the border, registered the boat provincially with no problems, then receive...

bigfoot vs. standard mercury fourstroke

in the 25 to 30 hp range, what are the differences between the two? I've checked the specs, and it seems that the bigfoot has a larger-sized lower unit, which might cause increased drag on a 15 foot aluminum boat, but I would think not too significant a differnce? Weight seems the same too. Am I mis...

Late reply, but... There's a bait shop right in Sharbot Lake just South on 38 from the Marina. Shiners and Chubb, etc. Eagle Lake bait shop is further south on 38, just before Tichbourne, but he's not had minnows this summer - said he might get some in the fall (now?). Leonard's hasn't had any shine...

fish finder frustration

Hey all - been lurking for a while, time to ask a question - I've just installed a Humminbird 585 fishfinder. I'm picking up bottom structure, weeds, and I think what are bait balls, and there are a few fish being ID'ed in the balls. Trouble is, Im marking virtually no fish whatsoever anywhere else....
