Congrats Dude! Way to buck the trend! Most people catch their first by accident, get the itch, spends oodles of cash on muskie gear and then fish for months before getting any action. Great Story.

Burn a willow or french blade spinner just over the weedline back to front first.... Then slow it down with colorado blades along the edges

One of my favourite places to fish. Very nice. Did you climb the fire tower? No need I guess with the view from the plane.

I do it all the time. As long as you are by yourself you shouldn't have a problem. If I am heading over deeper water I will close and tie my tackle box to the boat just in case.
