I always love reading your reports FF! You're a real pro.
One suggestion that Wolfe already mentioned. I met you and Roxy in Arnprior last year.... I think that she should be in more of your pics!

I still remember watching Red Fisher as a kid. One show stands out in my mind. He gave his guide a nickname: Thunderbritches! The look on my mother's face when I asked her what it meant was priceless.

Yeah, we're staying at the Clothier Inn. I have a hard time watching the river flow past the parking lot without throwing out a line.
Seeing as how there is just OOS fish in there, I'll have to stay away... oh well, the season will be here soon.... 8)

Kemptville Creek

This body of water runs right past our hotel and dumps into the Rideau. I've been dying to wet a line and was wondering if anyone knows of any panfish here. One of the guys in our crew saw wallies in it, so I would not want to interfere with their spawn.

Which one of those lakes have the easiest access? I'd like to bring my canoe into one of those sometime and try my luck.

Calabogie lake has a causeway about 2kms long... which means lots of easy access shoreline and all the species (except muskie) which you are looking for. I fish there all the time so if you ever need a partner... let me know!

I'm one of those boatless people who will fish with anyone! I went out with a few guys last year including Hoser, BTS and Bacon. All are great guys with a healthy dose of knowledge and humour. SteveG and I are teaming up at Westmeath. We're both Cable-guys so there should be lots of stories we can s...
