Yeah, we're staying at the Clothier Inn. I have a hard time watching the river flow past the parking lot without throwing out a line.

This body of water runs right past our hotel and dumps into the Rideau. I've been dying to wet a line and was wondering if anyone knows of any panfish here. One of the guys in our crew saw wallies in it, so I would not want to interfere with their spawn.

SteveG are fishing together at Westmeath, I think we are each bringing our own canoes on the 28th. I'm also going to the Baitcaster derby on the 21st. Looks like a busy month for me!!!!

Which one of those lakes have the easiest access? I'd like to bring my canoe into one of those sometime and try my luck.

Calabogie lake has a causeway about 2kms long... which means lots of easy access shoreline and all the species (except muskie) which you are looking for. I fish there all the time so if you ever need a partner... let me know!
