Water levels are low along the Rideau River for now , until the flooding warning is over. Then they will open the dams/locks to raise to regular levels .

If you check info from large ice-fishing outfitters they offer overnight shacks with beds, heaters and toilets out on the ice. Different rules ?

Dave, if you use the address for your cottage when you apply for your permit / fishing license then you would be a resident to them.

spoke with Ontario MNR today and they said there are no restrictions being in a boat fishing as long as you're alone or with someone from your household with whom you are isolating. Try not powering up your sonar till motor running as computers will freeze / go in sleep mode and the only way to clear it is to disconnect / reconnect power to reboot.
