I have the same auger and got new blades at WalMart. Or should I say, my wife got them for me. I love when she feeds my addiction :D As far as sharpening, she also got me a cool hand sharpener that makes it a lot easier. It is made by Lazer.

( Not me catching them btw)lol The heavy weights of the weigh- in was no fluke. We have a spot called the limestones in Couchiching, crystal clear water and you...

Hey Joey. I live in Orillia and fish it every year. You'll see a lot of boats by the narrows(That's where Couchiching and Simcoe meet up, can't miss it) Stay on the Simcoe side and head out til you see a massive island, its called Strawberry. That's where the pope stayed when he was here. Anyways, y...

If your staying at Muskys, your in the right place. Head down towards Waubaushene near the channel, its a great spot. I had one on my line ice fishing this year, when I saw it was a muskie, I cut my line. Out of season, and I don't fish that way. Lots of structure for them to hide. Pike are giants t...

Six Mile is nice. Just up the road basically from me. The whole area is filled with pike and muskie. Hold on tight at all times, it can get crazy. The lake is nice, runs pretty close to georgian Bay. Look up Gloucester Poole and that will give you everything you need to know. But, and this is a mons...

I have seen some monster smallies come out of Simcoe. I have seen a lot of guys drop shotting for them. We have different tourneys here all season and a lot of the guys take off for Simcoe after blast off in the morning. Some of the bass they pull in are massive.

At least you got to net them. I remember 5 years ago myself and a buddy were fishing on Scugog when all hell broke loose. Mr. muskie slammed my lure and the fight ensued. I had it right up to the boat and yelling to my buddy to grab the net. I look over and out of nowhere this little net hits the wa...

I painted my boat just before I sold it. :( I sanded the boat down to bare aluminum and used a self etching primer, it was recommended to do it. I then painted right over top of the primer. I still see the boat at the ramp and she shows no sign of wear. I have also heard that the aluminum can be tre...

Moon river is nice to fish. Massive muskie and pike all over the place. I fished Blackstone harbor and Woods Bay. Great place to hopefully land a trophy. Got my personal best smallie there. Just watch out for the rocks and shoals, the canadian shield is beautiful, just not so much when your paddling...

Smallies for me. They have a tournament here basically every weekend, and the size of the Smallies they are bringing in are massive. Must be fun to catch them all day long, and possibly win the boat at the end of the day!
