be sure you've got a good wire leader if you're going for cuda. Also if you're thinking of wading around the lagoon, keep an eye out for salt water crocs.

Also, even with a good pair of polarized sunglasses, a good fishing cap with a black underside will cut down glare even more.

I love my pair of MJ and the customer service is second to none. If you're fishing in lots of bright light situations the grey lenses are good, otherwise the amber lens are a better choice.

You might get lucky and hook into a brown, but salmon do not feed when they're running up stream. You would probably run the risk of snagging fish in the river if you use spoons or plugs.

The reg is intended to help migratory fish such as salmon and steelhead. Fish will sack up at dams, etc. waiting to move upstream. Clearly, it is far easier to catch/poach them where they're concentrated in one spot. The lack of local enforcement is most likely because we do not have migratory fish ...

The reg is self-explanatory; no fishing within 75' feet while COs may not enforce the reg around the locks on the Rideau, you will see them ticket anglers breaking the reg on the salmon/steelhead rivers.
