heading to port hope

im heading down to port hope this weekend for some steelhead...does anyone know if they are coming in to the mouth of the rivers yet, or if the ice is even pushed out enough? thanks for any small tips you may have i live an hour away and dont want to wste a trip

grumpy...im sorry but i do beleive that is all you are..telling me to keep my day job? i didnt ask to step on your professional turf..i never said i wanted to be a professional fisherman i said i wanted some small name sponsors to help pay for a small portion of tournaments or discount me some baits...

no i have a black triton 176 dv magnum dual console witha 150 merc on the back..normally fish sutrgeon and balsam but periodically go to rice and head adn anythign else that sounds fun

my father and i live around the kawarthas and fish the top bass tournaments and have done one bassmania tournament...both are very good to start off with as my father and i just started and found ti very welcoming however topbass is cheaper to enter

havent been on the board since fall...jut wondering if any steelhead have been spotted sneaking around the river mouths yet..maybe even in them?..looking to get a line in the softwater any way possible before the creeks open up all the way and walleye opens

only fished up there once an it was ice fishing....down near buttermilk falls . we were only there for aout 3 hours and we caught ten or so lakers and one guy aout thrity feet from me hauled up aout a 15 pounder...real nice looking fish
