tomorrow

I'm booked with the lady tomorrow afternoon/evening. I'm going to head out early morning at Petrie in hopes of tricking a few at sunrise (still have not had much luck with them there but haven't tried much this year). If anyone else is weird enough to be out there at 6:00 am, and you can see me, com...

weekend plans?

Morning,

So who is heading out tomorrow? Despite the rain being called for I'm glad I won't be too cold (the past few weekends have been on the cool side, especially at 6:00 am!).

If anyone if heading up to the bogie area let me know as I will be up there tomorrow fishing as the sun comes up :)

hills

Hitting up Bogie to try a few new lakes for trout tomorrow. This usually results in getting lost for half the day and fishing the rest, haha.

All over

I've been all over this year Tip-up. I've actually saw you fishing with a group of guys about a month ago in Crappie Bay. It was an amazing day to be out and everyone was nailing them pretty good. Your buddy had that net to hold your fish alive under the ice, really cool. I didn't realize it was you...

IN for sure

I'm in for sure. My family has a cottage on Allumette Island and I’ve fished the surrounding area many a days in the past 5-years. I’ll bring my hiking boots and my 4lb light weight rod for those trout lakes. Its nice to get into them before the bugs pull you out. I could house a few halkers as ...

thanks

thanks for the replies guys. I am thinking of trying walleye bay in shallow or perhaps even crappie bay as it is generally more shallow. Perhaps the eyes move in at night.

I'll report my findings.

Night fishing

Morning, Just wondering if anyone has experienced a decent night bite (say from dark till 10 or 11 at night) on the Ottawa? I’ve tried Petrie (Crappy and Walleye bay) after dark and have had no luck, except a fairly decent size ling (which I though was a nice walleye until it literally slithered o...

I'm going to head out tomorrow morning for sure.

Daytime high of minus 13 (better break out the margarita's and sun tan lotion).

Good luck all.

Charging your vex?

I've been using a FL-12 for the past month or so and recently seem to notice that after charging it only lasts about 30 minutes then I get the crazy lights on the screen (the death spirial I call it). I charge it after every use but perhaps I'm over charging it? How long to you guys charge your vex ...
