The last time we were up to Nipissing (again, 20+ years ago) we stayed in an ice bungelow. We thought it would be great, fishing practically 24 hours a day. At least with our group, that's not how it turned out. First off, the fish didn't seem to be hitting. Also, we just found it weird not having ...

Hitch - Ford Escape
All,
Anyone recommend a trailor hitch installation location?
Got a quote from Ford for $575 all in. Seems a bit high.
I have a 2010 Ford Escape.
Cheers,
P.

Sandbanks/Local Rivers
All,
I'm looking for any info on either the Trent or Salmon rivers near Sandbanks. Looking to get out for a day to shore fish. Would east/west lake garner the same results with less driving?
Cheers,
P.

charters
google PEI fishing charters and you'll find one. Tuna fishing is supposed to be crazy if you get one, however, its $200/person and they have about a 30% catch rate. Free ride if you do catch one however. Don't discount the onshore brookie fishing, I got into them pretty good last week when i was the...

Pick a lake and put the name of it into the atlas of canada's topographic page (can be found via google) and you're off to the races.

underwear
Get a good pair of long underwear (both for your upper and lower body) that 'wick' away moisture as you can sweat and get cool fast (that is if you treck into trout lakes and get lost along the way with all your gear like me, haha).
