Good Boat Launch St Lawrence near Cornwall?
Going this Saturday (June 23) to St Lawrence. Apparently fishing tournament out of Cornwall, so my question, what is a good launch downstream from but close to Cornwall?
Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks

Re: Shore fishing for Crappie . . .
White Lake at the outlet, small controlled outlet, just off shore.
go to the town, turn right and you will come to the little bridge with the creek flowing under. That is the spot, on the lake there.

Wireless Underwater Camera
I bought this cool little Wireless Underwater Colour Fish Camera. Trouble is that it is supposed to work on Android as well as Iphone and Ipad. So long story short is my kids can use it on their Iphones ( we have tested it out, very sweet) but I can't use it on my Android. I paid 138 Cdn for this, i...

Installing a Dead Man Switch for trolling motor
I use a trolling motor on my kayaks and would like to share how I installed a "Dead Man Switch". Without one, if you ever fall out while the motor is running it will just keep on running. The parts need are a trolling motor and the Big Foot Trolling motor switch from Bass Pro shops ( or ot...

Re: Want to buy my first yak - recommendations
I've been looking into a nice fishing kayak this past winter. Currently have a pelican 10 foot which works well, BUT after 2 hours in the seat your legs go numb. Also the other thing to consider is the weight. Bass Pro has a sit on top with a good seat that weights in at 100 pounds. Yikes! price is ...

Re: instal a motor on yak
I tried a Series 24 battery on my 10 foot Pelican. It weighs 45 pounds and with the motor (a min kotta 30 30) the weight was too much. On the Ottawa river and it was just above the water. now wondering about a bigger boat like the pelican catch 120. supposed to be able to handle 400 pounds, BUT the ...

Re: Barbed or Barbless Fishing Hooks
Been barbless for years. Still catch fish. My son finally switched after he ended up in the emergency room with a hook in his thigh.

Re: Watching 39 hours?
Discovered this on youtube a few weeks ago. Best fishing show out there. I fished with Paul Castalano last September, it was amazing, so naturally I am cheering for Team Shimano. I think the combination of Paul and Taro are like the odd couple of fishing. Hilarious and they get the job done. Two thu...

Where are the White Lake weeds?
I noticed last year that the north end of White Lake (Ontario) had very few cattails and Lilly pads while kayak fishing. Went out there yesterday, July 5/2015 and couldn't find any cat tails on the north part of white lake? This is the part of the lake near the large trailer campsite by the village ...

Re: Best pike lures?
I use a 25 lb. test Seguar flurocarbon as a leader and so far, haven't had any pike bite through it. And yes, have had the pike jump right out of the water going for a minnow under a float.
