I think we need a boating forum. Because of the diversity of the boats from the people arond this site we could all learn a thing or two. This site is not BassBoatCentral so for the guy (or girl) with a 12 ft aluminum boat can learn some tricks about boat setttings and so can the 21 ft bassboat. Wha...

Hey Sag i've been in the same situation except mine was an Endura 30. The deep cycle from CT will last time wise about 5 hrs from my personnal experience. I would go for an RV27 grade from minn kota or the equivalent. The size and weight acceptable for your small boat and you should last about 2 day...

Currently I'm using a castaic SF and an old Team Daiwa Tournament TD-1HI. The castaic is very good for the light stuff (1/8 or 1/4 oz). If you flip light baits choose a reel with a wiffle spool because of the lower inertia needed to cast those light baits. One other thing: do you switch hands betwee...

By the way...

If you wanna paint it camo there is a really nice pattern : shadow grass by mossy oark. Good for ducks and for largies. To do it you would need to paint over some reeds .

You will need a self-etching zinc chromate primer ($$) after a thorough cleaning if you wanna do a long lasting job. If you just paint over bare aluminium it will peel easily.

By the way, I think it would be nice to have the results and positions of each of the participants. I think that will help stoke the fire of blabbing this long winter...

I fished tuesday and considering the weather factor...

That cold front is gonna mess up things tomorrow...

As for myself it's kindda like a roll of the dice... If these fishes are active like 2 weeks ago (same conditions minus the wind...) It's gonna be constant but slow action for bass, good for big pike and even better for muskies.
