Finns... I also read rave reviews about it and about P-Line's Spectrex IV. I just don't know any stores that carries thoses. I also believe Powerpro is a 4 carriers of 60 strands. It's only drawback is that the coating wear off quickly. I wish that we could have a braid that is as slick and qu...

Personnaly I use braid mostly on baitcast and like Powerpro (50 lbs) the most followed by spiderwire stealth (avoid the fusion stuff at all cost). The only two braids I did try on spinning are firewire (too noisy and will turn white and split very fast) and spiderwire stealth 30 lbs ok but coud be s...

The guys at BPS were right in telling you to go for longer rod 7'6" for flippin . Just ask yourself one question: do I want a shorter rod because of the heavier weight of a flipping stick or because of the situation. If it's the later then what you are looking for is a close quarter rod to pitc...

Largemouth, smallmouth, musky, gar, bowfin, walleye then pikes. Any warm water fish that pull my rod and that I can catch in public lake and river is fine with me. :D

White or chartreuse Spinnerbait Daredevils, Williams wobbler is good, A#5 veltic silver/red strippes with a dressed treble (yellow and red) is killer too. :D Firetiger husky jerks will get you some, specially when there is a cold front. 8) A black jig will work too. Now where is that global warming ...

I would approach downwind and use if possible a floating anchor to slow me down. For bait the std black and blue flippin jig 1/2 oz (drop faster in clear water) and for follow up bait a greenpumpkin flippin tube tx rigged. FH you dont mention the time of the year. The presentation discribed above wo...

dh Vanish has quality control problem if you want my opinion. I got some 15lbs that wouldnt break and would easily straighten treble hooks. :D Then I got a spool of 20 lbs that would snap off on hookset when flippin in clear water. What I learned is that it is IMPERATIVE that you wet the line...

I did some testing in gin clear water and greenpumpkin did about 20 to zero, same bait and size...

dh
I also have to prime the motor when its cold
That's normal because gas dont emit as much vapour and the volume of the fuel in your line decrease beacause of the cold weather.

Check the fuel line for cracks, specially in cold weather they become kinda brittle. Having to prime with the buld is a sing of leakage somewhere (it might be very small and almost negligeable) For the electronic choke what it does is restrain the air intake at start up so that the air/fuel ratio is...
