I was out in morrisburg last saturday and counted 37 dead bass in a very short boat ride.

was just wondering if any one has taken a reel to Reel to Reel Plus for repairs was it worht the money to have oe rebuilt or just get a new one.

well I dont know about suday conditions but I was on the rideau on friday form 8:00 till about 3:00 nd got 21 bass most were around the 2 2.5 range but did land 3 that were pushing three and one @ 3.2 and 5 pike was a very fun day and considered fishing sebo on the sunday but the kids didnt think it...

good points indeed, just food for thought a pfd is not a life jacket.a life jacket will keep you upright head out of water a pfd will not necessarily.

I agree with gerry I will allow my kids to remov the pfd when we ae stopped as they are strong swimmers so perhaps thats what whent on in the above mentioned photo.

I will chuck mostly bobbys perfect or tourny frog most of the time but will also chuck scum frog when hits seem a liilte short.

I agree with mr. hoffman, buy a bloody scale and wiegh the fish. its the only way to tell. its hard enough to guess a fishes wieght when you are actually holding it yet alone from a picture.

being a scruitineer makes for a long day because you cant do anything to help a team out you cant fish you cant net you can only sit and watch maybe chat a bit but you will see and learn some things from top notch fishermen.

a scruitineer will be given a team to ride with for the day. lots and lots of money on the line so just a precaution helps teams stay within the rules and if a team should come in with a crazy big bag of fish no one could say that team got them dishonestly that sort of thing.

big rideau is the spot. it is a big lake lots af good fishing and its a big enough spot you can easily get away from boat traffic there.

I like to use mega strike its a paste seams to last a bit longer not real cheap though it seems to work.

there is also a park launch at taylor park off river rd 10 min past manotick bait and takle I use this ramp all the time. many large bass tourneys use this as well its five bucks to use this one. likely your closest spot from orleans.
