great thinking about spring trips to the park

You may be ok this year
but there is often still ice on the lakes in early may
especially at the north end of the park
closer to your trip you may want to check into this.

In Shiner-Could there have been a poulation of pike before the stocking of trout?
I don't believe that Shiner was ever a natural tout lake
Catching an 8 to 10lb pike from a tube on that little lake sounds great.
Throwing it in the woods would not be cool.

Just finished off dinner

I ended up baking the laker with some wild apple slices, cillantro, lemon slices, butter and salt and pepper.
it was darn good
and almost as fun cooking as it was catching.

Thanks for the imfo guys

I'm pretty new to lead core

I like the idea of adding a little action to the line and set up

and when the laker hits all the better.

How about gang trolls? and the distance set for the lure?

So lets say you've limited out on Lakers But your still fishing (targeting ) the laker species Is this illegal? Even though you would intend on any catch and release. I recall watching an episode of Angler and Hunter and the host had caught his limit of Whitefish (suprising as he usually gets nothin...
