I've been using an X67 for 3 seasons now and have had a blast using it.
I was considering upgrading to the Gps model but think I'm more leaning
toward the H2O handheld.
Looks a we bulky for what I need it for. (ie- don't own a boat yet)

Ice should definitely be strong enough, not to sure if it's got slush as it's my 1st full winter season @ Shirly's. Does anyone know how the Bay reacts as far as heavy snow is concerned? ie: slush. That launch can really get drifty from time to time. Hopefully one of the boys w/t a hut has a plow as...

A guy walks into a psychiatrist's office wrapped in seran wrap and nothing else.
The psych looks up and says" Well, clearly sir I, can see you're nuts!"

Hey Tip-up
Shrimp, worms, cutbait or stinkbait'll all work down there.....my personal favorite is "garlic shrimp"......if the bite's slow @ least you won't go home hungry.
Have fun w/t those crappi this wknd.

I ran 8lb Frline Crystal this past fall for walleye and had good results, can be a little hard on ceramic guides. Was tying florocarbon leaders but you don't necessarily need them. It is a littlle softer than the regular stuff. I'm gonna run the 6lb instead this year.....used the 6 on hardwater and ...

Never tried it, sounds like a newer line from them. Had a couple of "funny" (not ha-ha funny) batches of Power Pro a few years ago, so I switched to Berkley Ultracast braid and havn't changed since. Not as round as Ppro but it's never failed me and it's fairly easy on the guides fresh off ...
