Spent a few hours on Saturday fishing the Rideau at Manotick for carp and had excellent success caught three of the little critters and lost five in the thick weed. I think the easy option is to stay well clear of the USA borderline!!
Cant be bothered with all the hassle to fish over their side,will stick to Canadian side!

If fishing either the St Lawrence or the Ottawa River systems by boat and you cross over the border into either Quebec or the USA,do you need the relevant fishing licence for that relevant province /country?
