Constance Lake-quick report

Headed out on to the lake for a couple of hours armed with a borrowed underwater camera. The lack of bites was compensated by what I could see!! At the end only ended up with a few small perch and a couple of hammer handle pike. Very entertaining and a little frustrating watching perch of a resonabl...

Take the 417 east...then the 174 east...turn left onto Trim Road it is clearly marked. Stay on Trim Rd for a matter of a couple of hunderd metres...the tackle shop will be on your right...pop in there for some friendly advice and directions to the bay. Basically Crappie Bay is straight down the road...

Well I tried Crappie Bay for the first time today, and had the pleasure of meeting some Hawkers. How nice it was to be able to get on the ice at long last, even though the area was rather crowded. Cant moan though cause I came away with over a dozen nice size Crappie for the table. Would love to post ...

As JP said, I was told by a marina to fully charge the battery and leave on the boat, thats what I have done these past two winters and have had no problems with them at all.

When I tried logging on today on 3 successive occasions this idiot 'The Atom' flashed up saying I had been hacked by him..the language appears to be Scandinavian I believe.

So the prat appears to still be effecting the site.

Anyone have any idea if each seminar is on different aspects of ice fishing?Or is the second just going to be a repeat of the first?

Im presuming at this time its going to be a repeat so people who cant make it for 5 hear it again at 7.

Mike a really good read..thanks.

You mention about winterising the livewell at the end...having just purchased a boat this year with a livewell.....what do I need to do ?

Or can someone else help me out with that?

With that in mind the bilge pump....does anything need to be done with that?

I have to admit that since coming to Canada from the UK I have done little else than fish from my boat. Back in the UK if you owned a boat you were in the more well off category and was not something that was fairly affordable to buy..so shore fishing is the way the vast majority of people fish over...

I have the same problem(was told my image was too big)...wanted to post a load of pics of carp and walleye I caught on the St Lawrence this summer.I was told to download Goggle Picasa, which I did,but having done that I still cant fathom out how to make them smaller so I can post.

Try around the Richmond area...Steeplehill Rd area...good at the park at the north end of this road...had many a pike and small muskie from in there.

Also the road bridge going over the river at Cambrian provides some sport(south of Steeplehill).

There is also the chance of walleye.
