Radioactivity in waste water sludge....what isotopes? Could be from a hospital using isotopes for medicinal purposes. Could be from industry in Ottawa. Yes they exist. Lac Dumoine in Quebec has them, and they can be found in the Ottawa sometimes. Very nice colour. Lac Dumoine though is a leased territory outiftters lake (actually two outfitters).
