All wallye hav white markings on there fins, sorta like brookies with the white leading edges on their fins.

headed out somewhere not sure where yet. Maybe the burnstown bridge. I got a 14 1/2 pound pike on the right shore before the mouth last friday. Good luck.

good fishing behind them bouys :lol: :lol: :lol: . Another spot to try would be turtle lake or balmer bay. Both have produce some big pike for me. In case you don't know there is a bay across from the deep river marina with a creek to turtle lake. Not big but holds big pike. even the back of the bay...

Well my brother and I decided to hit th river again today. After my six eyes from yesterday we went for pike. The pike weren't co-operating so we went fo walleye. he spots fihmaster mention are al god for early season eyes. If you want to try for pike any shallow bays are good. I live in Petawawa and fish te river alot. If you have anyother questions about the area pm me.

There is good walleye and perch fishing at early ice. That is the only time I have ever fished there and I have always fished off the island (used to be island). There are also some big pike in there.

they are just doing surveys on the fish. What you are fishing for, what have you caught, then if you have any fish they take a scale sample from it. They are also trying to figure out if they should continue stocking the lake with trout. Alot of the locals are upset that they are in there.

This is a 1 ounce spinnerbait ( same one I ordered but standard wire) beside a 3/8 ounce red eye. Not much difference in size. I like having the heavy head so I can work the bait a little faster. Those big colorado's provide alot of lift. Plus I can cast a mile with them. I usually don't catch many ...
