Well Pepe I still haven't got to fish the lake. lol I spent an hour an then got scared and headed to the river. not easy fishing there with 10 other boats. At some point there were seven footers, Being by myselfI couldn't take it in my14 footer.

I live on the river and you are allowed live bait ANYWHERE on the river. Now if you decide to go up any tributaries that is another story. You would need a quebec liscence and no live bait. I live in petawawa and have fished cobden many times but only for bass. That is why I never replied to your thread. For Pike fishing I would suggest fishing the shallows with spinnerbaits, jerkbaits and topwaters.
