I've got two 2 wts. One I made myself (rainshadow Rx6) and an Orvis superfine.
I even caught an 18inch laker accidentaly on the superfine

Both are short 6'6'' and I mostly use them fishing small trout streams.

Hey Joco,
I've done it before in colder conditions... Didn't have any problem other than it can get pretty tight for the leg room because some wading boots are quite big.

The qc mapbook is not very good... It as cost me several hours of backtracking because of unacurate maps... The info in there is good, but do yourself a favor and buy an actual roadmap with it.

Hey, I personnaly use patagonia, had them for a year. I fish a couple times a week... They are tough. I even bushwacked a bit wearing them, and no problem. But they can get expensive if you pay full price. I'd say try your luck on ebay for a pair. I just checked and you can get a pair of simms frees...

Hello everyone, Well thats it, I just mail ordered my Ny state fishing liscence. As far as trout goes, its not too hard to find streams with brookies in it. And when I felt like fishing different group, I would go to papineau labelle. But seeing the price of the us liscence (40$us) I thought why not...
