I am so glad to hear that fish is bitting again @petric Island. I was there twice this year, totally 10+ hours and 1 fish. I am going to give it another try this weekend.

the regulations said Sturgeon are opened from Jan 1 to May 14 for DIV 10 ,DIV 7 and DIV 9. It would be nice to have one of these gathering for this special species.

I was there last Saturday, the bite was picked up around 5:00PM to 6 PM.I did not got any good fish, but one gentle man besided me had 4 pikes in less than 40 minutes.

Finaly made to the crappie bay today,the ice is still accessable but the action was very slow, I was there for 6 hours, just managed 1 pike and 4 small crappies. but it is still a lot of fun ice fishing in the raining day.

I am thinking to go petrie island tomorrow for some ice fishing, does anyone know if the ice is still accessable after these warm weather?

Went fishing in Crappie bay. Action was very slow, just caught 3 blue gills in 2.5 hours. Met Iceman and Joco there .
