Hey Moose ....thanks, Sometimes we do forget , that there are irrsponsible people every where , be it native or White!!! big-o, I agree with you completely! I see the "white" meathunters in action as well. Catching their limit and eating it for lunch, then another limit for supper, then a...

Moosebunk, thanks for your input on this, one thing I must clear up however, nets on LOTW are not "put there by someone who's spent a lifetime putting that gill net there to provide a life for himself and family." This is a more disturbing problem, people are reporting a dramatic increase ...

Moosebunk, don't you see any problem with the fact that other gamefish are being slaughtered and thrown away wasted in order to catch the walleye? I take it you are a sport fisherman being on this board. My take is that sport fishing has come along way, we practice and preach catch and release, in t...

Fishing for food, social and ceremonial purposes, which is their traditional right, I do not have a problem. Laundering (food, social and ceremonial) fish through the few legal native commercial licences given is the problem. Sale of (food, social and ceremonial) fish commercially is illegal! Howeve...

Well some kind of response is better than no response, this has been getting steadily worse and spreading to new lakes, with not so much as a whimper out of anyone. As for emotional, yes it is, very gut wrenching when you are fishing a prolific muskie spot and come across this, I know I almost puked...

Getting yourself wet in summer is a good test. A snowsuit will also keep you warm and comfy, but I doubt it will after taking a plunge. I know someone that took an accidental slip into 40F water last fall in a Mustang and after pulling himself back onto his dock, he was completely dry inside.

I went from a Bouy o Bouy to buying a Mustang Atlantic this year, and there is a huge difference. As jammer said if you can afford it get the Mustang.

Awesome fish!!!

Just wanted to add that it's a shame that record fish have to be killed to be recognized. I know that if I ever am fortunate to catch a record muskie, it is going back unharmed.

Thanks again everyone, glad to be here!! skooter, those baits (Harbour Masters) are made by Brett C who lives in Niagara Falls. He makes a few different models of big cedar muskie baits, I have only run his Harbour Masters and am very pleased with the quality and the results! I hope to be trying out...

Hi wolfe, thanks! Hmmmm, wierd the video wouldn't work for you. I've had other rare occasions that people experienced the same with a few of my other videos and am at a loss as to why. I just encoded the same clip as MPEG1 instead of WM9, this might work, although you may have to download it first t...

Thanks again everyone! Seaweed, congrats on your PB, keep at it, the Ottawa is a great fishery and it's just a matter of time. Yes, I'm finding bigger is better and have really just recently started using the huge stuff you saw. I also was like most figuring what the heck would hit a bait like that,...

Thanks for the welcome everyone! Yes those two fish were mine caught on a recent trip. They weren't actually caught in the same day as the post suggested, one was on Nov 9th and the next one the 10th.
