Has anybody been to any of the little back lakes around Calabogie area to check the ice cover such as Blythfield long

Now thats a day on the water which is worth the time catching.

Excellent bunch of fish ya got there.

Anybody been in any little lakes behind Calabogie lake to check on the ice out situation. I am thinking of walking around Blythfield long for a few specks but have showed up 2 years in a row toooo early and not enough open water to fish in.
