Sorry to hear of his passing. Ganman introduced me to his shop a few years ago.
RIP Mr Better.

Lookinforlunkers, Listen to Ganman, he knows what of he speaks - watching him cast I can attest to his skills and knowledge - he makes everything look easy! He is right on the 9 foot rods, and I speak from experience my own experience with it. I went from a 9 fot 5 wt as my primary rod, to a 7.5 ft ...

For sure! Just got back from camping near Elizabeth town and fished the bouquet river. Surprising number of good size browns there for the size of the river. Drop me a line when you want to head out again... I have only been bass fising twice this year, Ganman, I blame you for turining me into a tro...

I started my little guy at 2. Granted, he didn't have a hook on the pole - I took the hooks off a rapala and let him cast it out and play around with it to get a feel. He is now 3 and a half, and continually out fishes dad! I am going to start him on the fly rod probably around 5 or 6 (or as soon as...

Fly Tying Materials

Just cut the chord to the length you want, remove the cover and voila - a lifetime supply of legs. They can also be dyed using markers, ...

Upstate NY - Cold Brook
Got up at 3:30 this morning and headed down to the edge of Adirondack park to a brook that Ganman pointed out to me on our last trip. Got there about 5 AM it was cool, overcast and a bit misty. Tried a couple of different flys - BWO, grey caddis etc, lots of rises but no takers. Tied on a wulf patte...
