I'm thinking of stepping it up this year and actually preparing food...
The usual bagel / coffee in the morning but making a lunch that will sustain me through out the day.
I'll actually have room for a permanent cooler in the boat this summer.
If you guys have any useful tips, feel free to post.
I mix my Gatorade with water, 1/2 and 1/2, you'll get more out of it and it'll hydrate you better through out the day.

ha ha....I used to work with a guy that fished a lot of tournaments - he said that if he really had to drop a deuce, he would strip down, hop over the side of the boat, get his partner to troll real slow and then pinch a loaf.Wallyboss wrote:Don't how you guys that do tourneys and can't get off the boat. Unless it's at the weigh-in area. What if you are XX miles away? It's one of the reason I don't do tourneys. Well and I don't think that I am that good of a fisherman either.
Do what ya gotta do I guess.

Tend to pound through Beckwith Butcher's Beef Jerky... or sometimes a mitt-full of Jelly Bellies or Mike & Ikes.

Maybe some pepperoni, jerky, cheese or chips. Oh and water and Diet Pepsi. Honestly though, eating is usually an afterthought until I'm done fishing. It just gets in the way, LOL.

Bananas never, don't want the bad luck. lolJason Daoust wrote:Gatorade , protein bars, peperets, apples , bananas, oranges, watermelon ,
Apples, clementines, pepperettes, granola bars, PB & J sandwiches.... all good. For trolling on the Bay of Quinte this past fall I bought a personal crockpot, it holds 1 can of Campbell's chunky soup, and I can plug it into my AC/DC adapter I have on the boat.... nothing beats warm soup on a cold November day trolling.
