Another EOY Report or How To Kill A 56K Modem With Pictures
With the cruddy last few outings that I have had, and the insane amount of work I have ahead of me, I thought I might put together a report to honor this great year and all the people who helped make it one to remember. It is just so hard to draw that chalk outline around the year and let it be pronounce “Overâ€.
This year, I got out on the water just over 100 times. I averaged 4 outings a week, but often was out 5 times a week.... just ask my wife!! I am lucky enough to be in a chance of a life time position to do this and I think I took FULL advantage of it!
March 19th was my first outing. I didn’t get to catch a darn thing… but who cares? I was fishing from a boat… IN MARCH!!!
But, for me, what made this year so memorable was the people I have met through Fish Hawk. Not all of those trips ended up with a report, pictures or great big fish, but they were all part of the watershed year that was for me. Members like BeachBurger, Mick, Fiish, fishin mission, Claudio and Joey Rat come to mind... I had a great time with every one of them!
I had the privilege of fishing with a bunch of great guys this year that did end up on Fish-Hawk.
Ducker2 for trout back on May 11th …
FisherGuy33 for pike on May 18th …
Canoedude for snotties on June 1st (Our second outing)
June 3rd with TallPaul for pike and a great shore lunch
Open seat offer from Fisherguy33 on a cold June 10th …
July 20th with Miker
Fishing on July 22nd with HotelTango will leave me with this video to drool over for the whole winter….

But also these nice bass on a double header with Marc!
Lonnie on September 4th …
GR8-Scott September 10th
…got me a pic that I will remember for a while!
RJ and Phil kicking Paul’s and my butt on September 11th …
Spezza_Fan on October 4th …
October 30th on The Miss with Lonnie...
These are just some of the guys from Fish-Hawk I got out on the water with this year.
This year I renamed a local lake to NASA Lake... and with reason too!
Snotties!
And the beat goes on and on....
But I found some serious BRONZIES in that lake too!!
PB Bronzie Circa August 1st …
I was also fishing with my girls this year:
Emily & Katherine June 8th Pike
With Shannon July 9th …
Emily on August 18th …
Fished with BassAddict more than anyone else this year... he took lots of pics, many reports that we could have posted, but I think he was gearing up for an end of year report too!
NASA Lake Bronzie on the 4th of July:
BA with some SWEET bronze action on July 26th …
September 1st worked well for us!
We had a BLAST at the derby on The Miss
Rockland Rumble September 18th …
Fun in the Rain on September 30th I was actually able to get BA to SMILE!
A few other great memories of this year will be:
Then there was The AQUA BUCK on July 11th

And the vehicle that drove my year:
The Open Seat
Thanks EVERYONE!!
Some people might wonder why I spend an absurd amount of time on this site. In reality, I don't. I am on my PC often 18hrs a day because of my paying job. Here is my home work station;
I do hope that this end of year report goes a long way to explaining why I do spend time on this site.

Craig,
You've been a great addition to the FH crowd and your reports this past year have further entrenched you into the lifeblood of the site. Your humour, ability to entertain and educate all at the same is an amazing trait.
Open seat in my ice shack anytime you want to slide out my way fella.
I sure hope Santa gets you a new rod and reel combo this X-mas....so that FX can be retired.
