I was wondering if anyone charges there battery with a solar panel, when fishing remotely . If so what kind and how?

The battery for the ICE 55 uses a 1000mA output charger.
As long as you have a charge controller and a solar panel that puts out at least 1Amp @ 12VDC you should be fine.
The ratings on solar panels though generally quote 'ideal' conditions and actual output varies on sunlight and temp, with poor conditions being 50% of rating or even less depending on design.
Most panels actually work better in the cold.

Or a panel, charge controller and ideally a spare battery that you leave to charge while out fishing. Running directly from a panel would likely not work as the battery won't charge when their is a draw from the flasher.
