prices

Post by Haybay Larry »

I was in toronto recently checking out prices. The '09 pricing was 20-25% higher than last year. The rep tried to sell me an 08 boat at full list price. He thought he was doing a great service for me. I did not bite on that one!

I saw that boat

Unfortuantly it is too under powered

But thanks for posting this for me

I've looked at teh Legend and the Lowe so far

Now to look at the Princecraft and the Lund

I'm discouraged to read an increase of 20% + this year

J dont bite on a legend. Way to much for the lack of quality. And before any one bites my head off I am talking from personal experience and maybe wouldnt be so harsh about them but the service directly from the company was non-existant. This is the main reason Hurst Marine dropped them.

So I have been to a few dealers and look at some models but no one seems to be too hungry for my money. I even went to a spring sale, was the only customer, and not too eager to take my money from me.

Maybe when may rolls around and they haven't moved any off of the showroom floor my phone will ring.

I;ve been looking (web/phone) all week and I get the same impression... no one is hungry for my money... And the 09's are definitely being sold at 20% higher than 08's...

Just waiting my time out... trolling for a boat that meets my needs and budget... waiting.... waiting.. LOL.

hate to say it but even with our devalued dollar the prices of used boats in the States is a lot cheaper. I have been looking for a new bass hull for my 150 and there are some great deals to be had.

Here's an example of boats for sale in the US....I'm sure that you could pick this new Smokercraft up for under $15K US or ~ $17.8K CDN

Livewell never used. :)

I'll even throw in the custom mount Fire Extinguisher.

Give 'em a call. I'm sure they'll be able to help you out with a price that meets your needs.....and afterall....you gotta keep it in the family. Your boat's been good to you, this one is a dream.

Cheers,

Rob I am surprised it hasn't sold yet. That is a great price for that boat.

Mr.J. That is the same attitude I found last year. Some local dealers just did not want to talk to me about a boat.

So I found a dealer in the states that did. Not only called several times but was willing to deal on price and upgrades.

I would have bought another Princecraft from Laurentien but they discontinued the model I wanted.

you sould look at Bobber's boat.
