My First Born Finally Came Across Customs I Named her Astro

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

My First Born Finally Came Across Customs I Named her Astro

Post by iankrzyzanowski »

Well what can I say, it has been a long 5 months since I first told Grumpy and Richard that I would buy their boat... little did we know what kind of hassle it would be... I wont go into all the details cause most of you already know... BUT IT WAS WORTH IT!!!!!!!!

Went down today and met grumpy and Richard at the Thousand island bait store, did the paperwork, and went back to Canadian customs! It was here that I thought my day was going to be ruined, but customs was easier than I had expected! I owe this to ED (Thanks for getting me the paperwork) and Carlco and Mikey (Thanks for preparing me for what was going to go on at customs)

So before you get to see her, I Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped me over these past 5 months and making me getting this boat possible!

This list is in no order, and If I forgot anyone im sorry, im to excited right now :):):)

Thanks goes to:
Richard Pekarik (Boat owner)
Grumpy (Middle man)
Lindsay
RJ
Carlco
Ed
Dana - Misses Topwater
Spinner
Markus

And everyone else who gave me a pep talk along the way when I needed it! You know who you are!

Without further ado:

More pics soon to come, I was to excited to even polish her today! Should be ready for her maiden voyage in about 2-3 weeks! As soon as the last of the paperwork is done shes on there!

Thanks again to Everyone who made this dream possible!

See you on the water!!!

Awesommmmme Bud!! You must be relieved... I hope you're finished all your exams 'cause it'll be hard to study with that sitting in your driveway!

Congrats!

Glad I could be of help Ransome, that's a fine looking rig, glad things went smooth at customs  Your gonna have alot of fun with her...treat her nice and she'll be good to you for years to come. And if you can, as I mentioned to you, get someone in your area who has experience running a bassboat to give you a few driving lessons, things like how to avoid bow hook  and chine walk  have fun and be safe...

Mikey

P.S. My "other woman" came out of the garage las nite
