My new waterproof digital camera

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

For those of you who read my Cayo Largo report you'll remember that my digital camera got toasted on the flats.

I ordered this new digital Camera. It should be fun...I'll try a couple pics of caught fish as they are coming towards the boat and suspended fish, I like to snorkel also.

Nice Digi,

Let us know how the picutre quality is..

I bought an Olympus because it's water resistant... it cost a lot more than the others I was looking at but I wanted to be able to take it portaging... And with an additional case it is fully waterproof for underwater shots...

It's great... it sits in the bottom of the canoe sometimes and still works good...

My only complaint is the actual pictures... Night photo's aren't that great and same goes for action shots. My next one will definately have a manual setting so I can think for it... Sound for the movie clips would be nice addition too...

Those are my two cents on waterproof/resistant digicams,

Here is a link to a new weather resistant Olympus Camera.

The older stylus has come down nicely in price. I believe it is $299 at Radio Shack. Still a good Camera.

There are other Cameras also but I like the Pentax because it gives the best protection for a Camera that still looks like a regular Camera. You could pull the Pentax out at a wedding and no one would know that it was waterproof... and no extra casing needed. You also have 5 megapixels with movie and sound. You can use this Camera for all of your photgraphic needs.
