Your biggest Walleye

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Last year was my first year targeting these beauties and I was fortunate enough to boat a 11.6 pounder.

I'm looking to improve that in 2005! :P

ET,

Thats a great fish for the spring. The best we did was a 10.8 that took third in the Napanee derby a few years back.

Markus I'm guessing you were on BOQ as well as the rest of us.

My biggest walleye was 7.6 caught on a bottom bouncer and spinner rig, not as big as your guys but a big walleye in my books.

Markus, sounds like you might want to talk to the Berkly boys. Both Mike and Riches were measured on that scale.I wish I could recall the measurements on Rich's fish but they were impressive. The fish was huge.

8.5 lbs last opener on the Ottawa. We also got a 7 and lost one that may have went 10 or 11 in the same weekend from the same 100 yard stretch of shore.

Mine was 33.5" to the fork in the tail and 19 1/2" girth. The scale said 16.6lb, either way it was a nice fish!
