October 30 Bay Of Quinte/Adolphus Reach Walleye Fishing

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

October 30 Bay Of Quinte/Adolphus Reach Walleye Fishing

Post by Kingmann »

A BIG thanks goes out to Xenos for helping me get my personal best Walleye, a 9.3 lbs 30 inch brute. We also had a 8.5 lbs Walleye and two 10 plus lbs sheephead. It was a bit choppy and certainly wet at times, but we were thankful for the warm winds from the south. It seemed from the talk on the radio that things were slow in general, despite the fact the sonar was littered with hooks throughout the area.

Xenos has the pics and I'm calling him right now to get him to post them.

Happy Halloween!

I also just got home from a weekend at Quinte and landed my first double digit eye. A 10.7lbs 31" beauty, thanks to all who post such great info and tips. Keep up the good work guys... It was a little wet on saturday but well worth it. I caught it right in front of the ferry in 50' of water. Will post pics when I get them.

Looks like the BOQ didn't let you down! Great looking eye's! Whereabouts were you and what did you catch them on?

Double vision beauties, Kingmann. Looks like you actually CAN catch something besides rockbass, hmm?!

Hey Gordo, we were fishing Adolphus Reach and the fish were caught on a blue and silver 8 inch minnow bait and a Rapala J9 in firetiger pattern. They were both around 40 feet deep.

Yes Wolfe I can catch bigger fish than the mighty and powerful Rock Bass, but I really need to give the majority of credit to Xenos for knowing what he's doing and taking me with him. It seems (like Markus) he comes up with quality fish on most outings.

Also, I know Xenos has gained knowledge from people on this board so I thank you all as well!

It was, and still is, quite a thrill.
