bay quinte. walleye

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I fish the Bay of Quinte regularly, the ice does not get that thick, due to current, So not a lot of wooden ice huts on the bay and few if any overnight huts. Your best bet is to hire a guide who moves around and uses portable huts and rent a motel to sleep in.

One of the best is Joe from Blue Rock Charters, he will put you on Quinte walleye.

Ice never really gets super thick there. Father lives 25min away from Belleville so get out atleast once a year there. Best bang for your buck and ease, check out Potters Creek.
