Fall recap

Been laking on my post and I’m about to post my first ice fishing post so figured I’d do my late summer fall recap.
Starting the start of August I s made a couple trips up too the swisha dam to do some walleye fishing. Me and my buddy Chris had a good first trip up there. We mostly trolled cranks or casted drop shots and swim baits. Chris is amazing with the camera so got some good shots.
Sadly that trip ending in us having to be towed back because my motor died. After working on the motor and ordering the new part and installing it I took it out too test and it ended up blowing up. So now motor less.
Ended up getting another older 15hp Johnston and it ended up working good for me for the fall but the fishing was very slow for me. Skunked on bay of quinte for walleye, few very slow days on the st Lawrence and never got my fall musky on the Ottawa.
But not having a boat made me explore some new spots I normally wouldn’t be driving too to shore fish and it paid off. Pictures too follow
