St. Lawrence River, Bateau Channel

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

St. Lawrence River, Bateau Channel

Post by Still Chasing »

Has anyone fished this area. Would this part of the St. Lawrence hold any walleye. Seems like a good area to get out of the big wind. Any fishing information would be appreciated. What fish species can be found there. Thank you.

You'll find both Bass, Pike, and the occasional Musky...and yes Walleye. Mostly a night bite for 'Eyes due to the clear water...check out the reefs in the middle of the channel.
Good SmallMouth on the back side...drop shot Goby imitations.
The tug is the drug..
