This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Bay of Quinte November 13th and 14th

Post by JimW »

Fished Adolphus Reach on November 13th for about 6 hours marked lots of fish most down deep, tried a few different spots and a much of different baits but only thing I got was 1 silver bass.

Went back out Nov 14th fished Adolphus Reach for most of the morning marking lots of fish deep but no takers... so pulled our gear and decided to go for a little 15 mile boat ride.. to try Plan B.

Arrived at our new spot, did not mark much on the sonar but set up and started tolling. Fished the area for the afternoon, did not find any walleye, but did end up boating some smallmouth bass, pike and 1 out of season lake trout. We caught the laker as part of a surprize lake trout, pike doubleheader.

No monster fish, except the big pike that my fishing buddy lost about 20 feet behind the boat, no worries though it did not look that big (15+ pounds) lol

Ran the GoFish Camera a bit today, I guess it was running a couple feet deeper than I thought as it hit bottom a couple times, but the set up worked as it should, I unfortunately lost my lure but camera safe and sound.

So no Quinte Gold but a good day on the water... we will have to see what next weekend brings... more fishing or training for the marathon maybe. lol
