Is anyone seeing crappie on the Rideau River yet? Hoping to catch a few this weekend!

Next week they should start moving shallow... a bit too cold in my normal spots

Haven't tried yet. Was planning to check out some spots between Black Rapids and Manotick this coming Sunday, but probably won't due to the forecast (7°C, possible showers).

Real early season on the Rideau I've found that they don't move into shallow creek mouths until the very end of the day.
