Bob's Lake boat ramps

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Bob's Lake boat ramps

Post by Lurewasher »

Although I'm a driveable distance from Bob's lake , it is a lake I have never fished. The last couple years I have been exploring new water (to me) , and this year I thought I might try Bob's Lake.
After searching internet maps , and scanning for previously asked threads on this topic I have come up pretty empty.
Seems like there are quite a few camps that have private launches , but public ramps are sadly lacking here.
I am a bit surprised that a lake of this size , has so little to offer in availability.
I wouldn't mind paying for launch usage . I'm just surprised it's the only option.
I would be coming from the Westport , (east) side of the lake.
Any suggestions on which camps to contact to make arrangements for ramp usage?
I would like to contact them before the outing .
I don't want to just show up in the wee hours of the morning , when everybody is still sleeping , and expect to just pay when I come back in off the water. Thanks for any tips !
