Long weekend Fishing

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Long weekend Fishing

Post by FishingFreak13 »

Seen lots of posts about awesome fishing this past weekend and figured I would contribute as well. I took advantage of the weather on Sunday and headed out for a few hours in chase of some Pike, Walleye, and panfish. The wind was horrendous specially when I was in just a little aluminum but none the less it was a good day. Between my Girlfriend and I we only caught 3 Pike and a Walleye but the Walleye was a new PB for me by a mile. This beautiful fish weighed in at just over 7.5 pounds. One of the best looking eyes I have ever seen since i started fishing and couldn't believe I landed it as i forgot the net. The fish gods were on my side this time I guess.
