Last time I checked their prices were 10-20% off and STILL more expensive than elsewhere...

Watch carefully, not all items are discounted like the signs indicate.

Raise item value by 40% behind the scenes, put signs around the store that read "Save 40%"...........classic! Sounds like a typical spring fishing show.

I go there a lot because I live around the corner and they did not do this. They would of had to individually price everything by hand.

This and the other thread...You guys are brutal.

Now now now, don't be like that, try to find the humor in it, that's all I did. I find it funny that the items I targeted were a wash at 40% off with ordering on-line from the US. It doesn't matter to me who priced it, I don't care.

As for the other thread you mention, call me Brutal all ya want, but its completely Naïve to think that less than great face to face Customer Service and out of date Inventory tracking doesn't play some role in a small business's failure. Rule #1 in Retail = Customer is #1, very rarely did I feel like I was # 1 leaving the Ottawa loc or Montreal Loc.

It's just a different opinion man.

Hey Topten, do you guys have any two man flips for ice fishing in store?

there electronics were still more expensive 20% off than paddletails and cabelas regular price. considering all sales are final thats brutal.

You won't see much more of a price drop in electronics until closer to the closing date IMO.

There just isn't the markup in them compared to other products they carry.

Went in on Tuesday, fishing terminal tackle ,lures, cases, etc all now 40%.
Rods reels are now 30% off. Mostly left hand bait casters left in the case, some of the bigger spinning reels there too.Not a lot of rods left though..
A few rifles left in the gun shop, limited ammo.50% off on waterproof jacket & pant suits, got one there.
Some of the Mustang pdf's & survival wear was 35% off. Slowly they are winding down, sad to see it go, I did support it when I had the extra $. ..
One store employee said they have about 3-4 weeks till close, but he was not sure, as it is up to the Auctioneers.
