Fishing with my boy

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Hello everyone.
They young lad and I headed up to the hunt camp on Monday to do some work and play.
After all the work was done we hoped into the boat to see if we could catch some fish.
Well lets just say the bass were hungry, we caught over 20 bass and let me tell you there is nothing better then hearing your son yell "dad get the net, get the net", lol.
We had an awesome day. These are just a couple of the pictures I will share.
What a great time we had.

Good stuff! Can't wait 'till my son (and daughter) are old enough to join me on trips. Looks like you had a blast.

Some of the best times I had with my sons were spent just like that. Enjoy, they grow up so fast!

Great stuff dad! Lots of action is the perfect recipe for an outstanding outing with your son. I have 2 young ones and they just love to join me on my adventures. Fishing partners for life!

Brings back the happy memories when I fished with my little kids (now adults). I like the mandatory juice box in your pic... can't go fishing without them (or cookies, chips, cheese sticks ... :) )

You will have a fishing buddy for life. Congrats !

I can remember being in your sons shoes.

This is what fishing is all about.

Good job.

And I like that you got the work done, before the fishing. Good ethics to be teaching the young lad.

Nicely done, he's proud, and it shows...angler in the making!

P.S. What is the young lads Fish-Hawk handle?

Thanks everyone for the kind words and I'm more then happy to spark some memories.
I have only a few with my dad so it's really nice to make some of my own and when I'm old and forgetful hopefully he will be able to remind me.
The young lad has a good heart too. He didn't want to keep any of his fish because he didn't want to kill any,
His choice, I kept mine for supper.
He doesn't have a fish hawk handle just yet, I'm trying to keep his electronic fun to a minimum,
