Boat Docking

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Boat Docking

Post by Hussein M »

Hey Guys,

Long time member, first ever post. I thought with all the knowledge in the forum, for sure you guys might be able to help me with this.

I'm looking to dock my boat for the season somewhere in the Ottawa region (1 hour to 1 hour and a half max) with decent pike, walleye, bass or muskie fishing. I have looked around but it seems to cost an arm and a leg to dock the boat. I don't have my SUV anymore and cannot keep borrowing my fathers truck to haul the boat anymore lol.

Does anyone have any suggestions of where I can do this, at under $1000 for the summer? Preferred locations would be Rideau River, Mississipi Lake, White Lake, Ottawa River or anywhere close. So far best price was Clayton and Calabogie lake for about $550, but prefer not to do these places.

I don't know their rates but Johns marina on mississippi lake has plenty of open dock space.
