This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Watch VERY careful for debris in the water around Quyon There was a big landslide on the Bonnechere and huge amounts of trees and debris would have gone into the Ottawa upstream from there.

I don't know what the fishing would be like in Pontiac bay this early in the year ..But you better keep your whits about you as the flood gates on the dam will be open..Just a heads up It gets pretty treacherous and fast moving..As you can see in the attached photos taken a couple of years ago, All the islands and shoals will be covered ...

Take Care ..

Hey Congrats on the land its a beautiful area...I grew up fishing from the Dam down to Shirley's Bay....You have a nice spot there....If you want in June some time when bass opens I can give you a bit of a tour as the waters pretty tricky there with the shoals and the old dead heads etc...just PM me and we can work something out...There's some fun Gar , pickerel and Pike fishing as well close by you there....

Take care....Don
