Few weeks and time for some victoria island cats

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

It's been a while for me too, we used to go 1-2 times a week. I still have a container of shrimps in garlic juice in my freezer from the last time.
When hell freezes over, I'll be there icefishing!!!

If you can't stand behind our troops,
Please feel free to stand in front of them!!!

Experience is that marvellous thing that enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again

I work right near Victoria island so next week I am going to drop a dead bait on the bottom for a half hour at lunch when I can. Short soak and a bad time of day but I will report the minute I get anything (if ever). Hope my co-workers don't open my container in the fridge...

BTW the water levels are pretty high and fast there now so only some of the spots at the end are accessible... mostly the bay on the culvert side.
