Driving home today on the Ottaw River Parkway i saw two dudes WAY out on the ice at Westboro beach. The open water was not that far off. That location has been open, closed, open closed all winter and with the melt i am sure the current has picked up.

All I can say is I will stick to the shallow bays.

I found some thin ice on Saturday night with my atv on Round Lake. Glad the water was only 2 ft deep where it went through.

Kinda got me rethinking where and when I go with my bike
