Well, what's the New lure you can't wait to get wet?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Well, what's the New lure you can't wait to get wet?

Post by Kerrazy »

With only 2 and a half months to go, it seems my little cupboard is filling up with new crank baits, spinner baits, soft plastics and even the odd jerk bait tossed in.

While each one was chosen carefully, with a lot of time spent considering all of my options, I have 2 that really have my attention, and can not wait to get them wet!

The first is the Kamooki SmartFish lure, that is a Canadian made lure, that showed up last year. While I could not locate it last year, Ed at Paddle Tales currently has them in stock, less the 2, I felt I needed.

The second one I have high hopes for, is the new Live Target Sunfish top water bait. It actually came with instructions on how to present it, and Dave Mercer's video sure made it look very effective. Well, I relieved Sail of a couple this week, and hope to see the water explode when I fire it across the Lilly pads!

StankX BaitCo. They pour there own baits and then have the NXT LVL stuff that is custom painted! The scent is sick too! Very garlicky!

The drop shot baits are called squirtz and the swimbait is called Swimz.

This year I have expanded my collection of 6th Sense hardbaits and resupplied my weight stops.

Last season I started using 6th Sense crankbaits and a trial pack of weight stops. I was very impressed with the quality of their paint jobs. They have great actions and in less than a year have become a bait I throw with confidence.

What was I thinking???

Look at all these other choices!

I am curious about the weights drop shot'r. When and why are you using them?
Edited:
Aha, now ai see what you are using them for. For exactly what they are called. Lol

Those StankX Baits look great. Would love to try some of their swimbaits.

I rarely buy lures these days. The one I did buy is the Freedom Minnow Spoon. I am interested to see how it performs on Walleye and Lakers.
