LF rideau River boat launch??

Looking for the closest boat ramp for rideau River to fish around the 416 hey bridge area??? Anyone fish this area? Heard some eyes and pike in this area, any truth? Any good spots around that area??

River Monster and I fish that stretch every week at least once during the summer. We are typically going for bass but catch quite a few pike and musky in that area. I have only ever caught 1 walleye there but again, it isn't my intended species.

The Reeve Craig ramp is definitely the closest that is accessible all of the time. It is a free launch. It has no dock and is gravel if that makes a difference to you.

I go in Manotik and go from there, it's a free launch and they got a new dock last year..

Pirate Cove Marina has a launch just minutes from the bridge, and great facilities for any last minute needs( gas,oil, etc)

Launched at Reeve Craig lots.It's a decent ramp. As for Walleyes,we used to go out to edge of weeds just off channel right at launch and troll mostly upstream with 1/4 oz jigs with yellow 4" twister bodies.You get a fair share of weeds,but,you also gets lots of "Walters",S/M bass,and occasional Musky. It's quite a smorgasbord.

The one and only I have caught there came near James island...

But as was said above, it came off the weed line.
