Favourite "non-fishing gear?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

They get great reviews Clint. Looks like a real quality product, which is always worth paying extra for. How does it seal? Plug, O-ring, screw on etc?

Lol it must be good if it's sold at a breast feeding shop... http://www.thebreastfeedingshop.com/ite ... Silver.htm :?

Cheers

Top three

1. A nice wide brim hat
2. Hand sanitizer
3. A good pair of shoes. I shore fish so these are essential.

there are 2 screw on caps with o rings. a wide mouth and drinking sized one.

we've had ours for 4 years now and they still look and work like new, and they get heavy heavy use all ice fishing season.

ours actually came from a breast feeding/baby store lol.

This one looks great. And has solid reviews of long lasting warmth and no leaks.
Think I'll be getting it for ice fishing this year!

If you're looking for more personal sized these ones are a set of 2 for $20.00 from Costco. (I'm sure you can find them elsewhere too) I've had a few for years. They still keep things hot/cold (Ice water can stay icey for a good 6 hours + depending on how much direct sun it gets). And abuse the hell out of them. Drop em, throw them in the dishwasher, etc.

Added something to my MUST BUY list because I realized that I broke my last crappy one this summer.

Chair! I need a decent portable chair for Ice fishing/shore (bait) fishing. I am done buying the cheap folding chairs at Loblaws and Canadian Tire. I have a bad back and the sag in the center is murder on me. I need a stable, light folding chair and if anyone else has a bad back and can recommend a make that has good support but is nice and portable it would be greatly appreciated.
